Health Class or Perifit: a class or a sensor?

Perifit is a small sensor you insert, with games you play by squeezing. Health Class is a 6-week class with no device. Here is what each one does best.

Where Perifit wins

  • Sensors show each squeeze live, so you see if you lift the right way.
  • Games turn the daily session into play.
  • 9 languages, iPad support, and a 100-day free return on the device.
  • The app itself is free once you own the device.

Where Health Class wins

  • Nothing to buy or insert: you train with your own muscles, anywhere.
  • A class by a board-certified urologist, with a short lesson each week.
  • A plan for your goal, the basics or bladder leaks, from day 1 to day 42.
  • Week 1 is open to everyone, so you try the class before you pay.

Pick Perifit if you want to see your squeeze on a screen, you like games, and you are fine using a device you insert.

Pick Health Class if you want to learn and train with no device, follow a plan built around your goal, and try a first week before you pay.

What both get right

Both help you train your pelvic floor a little, every day. That habit is the first step guidelines list for stress leaks, for at least 3 months.[5]

Where they differ

Perifit is a sensor. You insert a small device, and the app shows each squeeze live. Your squeeze moves a game on the screen.[2] The app works only with the device.

Health Class is a class. Dr. Dana Kivlin, a board-certified urologist, teaches it. Each week opens with a short lesson. Each day has one guided exercise, with cues like "Breathe out, then lift." There is nothing to insert.

A word on price

Perifit starts with the device: $149 for Perifit Care or $199 for Care+, at regular prices on its store.[1] The app is free, with an optional Premium plan.[3] Health Class costs $11.99 a month or $99.99 a year, with 3 free days. Week 1 is open to everyone.

Can you use both?

Yes. Some women like a sensor to check their squeeze and a class to learn what to do with it. Ask your doctor or a pelvic floor physio what fits you, above all during pregnancy or after birth.

Quick answers

How much does Perifit cost?

On November 7, 2026, perifit.co listed Perifit Care at $149 and Perifit Care+ at $199, often on sale. The app is free. Its Premium plan costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year in the US App Store.

Do I need the Perifit device to use the app?

Yes. The Perifit Care app says it works only with the Perifit Kegel exerciser. Health Class needs no device: you follow the class on your phone.

Is a Kegel trainer device better than an app?

Each has a strong side. A sensor shows whether you squeeze the right way. An app with no device costs less up front and needs nothing inserted. A pelvic floor physio can also check your squeeze.

Is Perifit worth it?

It fits women who want live feedback and games, and who are fine with a device they insert. Its 100-day free return lets you test it. If you prefer no device, a guided class is the other way to start.
